Aimee Althoff
Associate Executive Director of Job Path

For more than 20 years Aimee Althoff has dedicated her career to Customized Employment (CE) and the unique way it provides a pathway for people with autism and developmental disabilities to find customized jobs and thrive.
It’s almost impossible to calculate the depth and breadth of her impact. Dozens upon dozens of employment specialists have been inspired by her leadership, vision, and dedication. In turn, each of them has supported their own cascading waves of individuals, who are now able to seize the lives they need and deserve through the dignity and connection of meaningful work.
Aimee began at Job Path as an employment specialist, which gave her a deep-rooted understanding of the process that makes Job Path’s work so special. From discovery – the deliberative work to uncover a person’s skills, strengths, and needs; to job development – working with employers to determine their unmet needs and customizing a job that fills those needs; and coaching – the support that can ebb and flow as needed to keep a placement beneficial for both parties.
Her skills, acumen, and heart led to her advancement from Senior Employment Specialist to Coordinator, then Manager, and Director to her position now as Associate Executive Director. Once she became a leader, it became clear that she has a combination of truly valuable and ineffable skills; to articulate the mission, attract a diverse pool of job developers and coaches with the spark of creative thinking needed for success, and the patience to give the process time to flourish.
Aimee is also deeply ingrained in thought leadership and training sessions held by The Consortium for Customized Employment, a project of Job Path that brings together 13 other disability services agencies that collaborate to expand the reach of CE principles and provide employment support to scores of their clients.
Aimee leads our Employment team from a deep well of experience and knowledge, combined with an approach that’s focused and yet flexible. Her impact from the past still resonates in the hundreds of people who are thriving in their jobs and it will echo long into the future as New Yorkers continue to be able to find ways to contribute and be valued in their workplaces and communities.
“Aimee embodies everything that makes Job Path exceptional,” said Job Path CEO Carly Teichman. “I am so honored that we can recognize her dedication and impact.”
CAC Industries
Employment Partner

Devon is seen here hard at work.
CAC Industries is a Queens-based family-owned civil contractor that works on some of New York City’s biggest commercial construction jobs, and has been a Job Path employment partner since 2023 with Anton K. and Devon T. working in a wide variety of office-based roles.
Job Path job developers connected with CAC Industries at an executive networking/training event and quickly realized we had a fantastic opportunity for a partnership because of their enthusiasm for including people with disabilities in their hiring goals.
Anton was hired for a customized job initially to do shredding and scanning of old records – a monumental task that had languished in the offices, vexing staff for many years. In addition to that work, his role over time has since expanded to other office tasks. His supervisor describes him this way: “He came in and took his job responsibility head on with so much devotion and enjoyment.”
Devon’s customized role started with a 3-day-a-week shift and he now works 5 days a week – a change that his supervisor at CAC said “speaks for itself in his value.” His tasks include scanning and other record-keeping, clearing outdated license plates from the company’s EzPass account, and tracking equipment recalls and parking tickets.
“He’s a big help to everyone. Everyone just feels a sigh of relief that he’s able to take these things off their plates. It helps us keep moving forward and progressing.”

At the award ceremony in October 2025.
Job Path isn’t the only one taking notice of CAC’s dedication. In the Fall of 2025 the company was honored as a disability inclusion leader by New York’s ACCES-VR, and the city agencies – the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, Talent and Workforce Development, and Small Business Services.
At that award ceremony, the company’s Human Resources leader, Diana Rangel said: “Inclusion has made our workplace more thoughtful, more patient, more united and more understanding.”
